Hard-Working Americans Dealing with Fraud

Every day I wake up as an average American and listen to the current events that are occurring in our country and what may occur in the future. The biggest story that has captured most attention is the rapid discovery of fraud that is happening in Minnesota. Not only is it within the daycare centers, but also with the Medicare and SBA agencies.

Has times changed now where being a good hardworking citizen is worth it with our hard earning tax dollars being stolen right under our eyes. Quite frankly, I feel stupid for waking up at 4:00 am 5 times a week to work hard keeping my family afloat, providing for them, and playing by the rules.

I see all these memes online from my friends as they laugh about opening a daycare center like the Somalis in Minnesota. Or any other foreign entities we are now seeing in other states fraudulently making millions at our expense.

So, the question I keep asking myself is why I am doing this, because this question is something nobody wants to talk about, just slide it underneath the rug. Is this the culture our society wants to become? Where taking shortcuts, making loopholes, and making false statements are a way of taking advantage of the system.  Where we stop being honest with ourselves thinking this will somehow reward us some way. This becomes dangerous and we start to lose our dignity.

In the end that trust we have in the society that defines our culture and keeps it all together is gone. That’s when it’s hard to bring it back! The only good that has come out of this is the awareness that it is happening. And hoping that more thorough investigations and audits will continue. Unfortunately, the media doesn’t want to report the truth; they want to control it with their narrative and political affiliations.
